What it costs, said plainly.
Four ways to pay, no annual contracts, and nothing that renews while you are not looking. If you are not sure, buy a single drop-in. There is no sales conversation afterwards.

The cancellation rule
Cancel at least six hours before a class and it goes back on your account. Inside six hours, the mat is spent.
That is the whole rule. It applies to drop-ins, blocks and members alike, it applies to the teachers' friends, and we do not make exceptions for traffic, because we would have to make them for everything. The freed mat goes straight to the first person on the waiting list, which is the only reason the rule exists.
Ending a monthly membership takes one email to front-desk@stillwater.example before the 1st of the month. It stops at the end of that month. There is no notice period, no exit fee, and nobody will ring you to ask why.
Everything else with a price.
- First Mat
- £8 flat, every time, for as long as you keep coming. Not part of any block — it is priced to be a gamble nobody minds losing.
- The Long Room
- £22, booked separately by everyone, members included. It is 75 minutes and involves a great deal of laundry.
- Concessions
- Half price on any drop-in or block for students, anyone on Universal Credit, and NHS staff. Say so at the desk; we do not ask for proof.
- Gift a block
- Any block, in a plain envelope with a handwritten card from whoever is on the desk. Valid a year from the day it is given.
What your money does not buy.
- Towels or showers — nothing on the timetable needs one
- Lockers — your things stay in the room with you
- An app, a streak, a progress chart or a monthly recap email
- Mats to take home, water bottles, or anything else with our name on it
- Private one-to-ones — the room is only ever sixteen people or empty
Curious where a £16 drop-in actually goes?We publish the numbers once a year.
Start with eight pounds.
First Mat, Sunday at 11:00. If it is not for you, you are out a sandwich.
